Aaron Grossman

Funny how life goes; almost 3 years I’ve been the night shift Radiology Tech at San Mateo County Hospital for x-rays & CT scans, mostly ER and ICU orders; often interesting, I usually enjoy it.

It’s a lot different than my 20 years of electronics with HP. I started as a factory tech, worked field service as a Customer Engineer, and finally a Project Manager. It all ended in the 2001 Dot Com bust.

I next earned a teaching credential and taught Middle School, but too much work, too little money, and my inadequate disciplinary skills ended it.

The Health Care field looks much more promising. Working 11pm-7am is fine if I go straight home and sleep until 3 or 4pm, then the rest of the day and evening is mine. I'm part-time Executive Director of the Friends of Stevens Creek Trail, and a local volunteer (see www.stevenscreektrail.org & www.omvna.org).

My degrees are BA Economics & Political Science, AS Rad Tech & Electronics, and K-9 teaching credential. After college I was a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Mariana Islands, then a teacher in Tehran, Iran. My rides are Hondas: Insight hybrid car & Helix highway scooter, both fun and great on gas! I also bicycle a lot.

I like to ballroom dance, hike, bicycle, backpack, ski, and adventure travel, including Japan, Iran, Kenya, Bali, Nepal, Costa Rica, Peru, Ecuador & the Galapagos. 2009 is Bhutan & Burma. See below for links to some pretty good photos and my email.
